It goes on top of the Ozpig, between the fire and your pot, pan or cooking surface. The diffuser instantly drops the temperature, making cooking easier and giving you more predictable results. The diffuser is made of two pieces of metal sandwiched together with a gap between each later, and a removable handle. There are hundreds of holes on the surface which diffuse the heat evenly and slowly.
